2. Shitake Mushrooms
We found vitamin B12 levels to be high in dried shiitake mushroom fruiting bodies (Lent inula epodes), which are used in a variety of vegetarian dishes.
Consuming approximately 50 grams of dried shiitake mushroom fruiting bodies could meet the RDA for adults (2.4 mg/day).
That being said, consuming such large amounts of these mushrooms would not be possible daily. So supplementing with top-notch sources such as real mushrooms shitake and my favorite is ideal.
