While the body can store reserves of such vitamins such as A and E, results from Canadian autopsy have shown that up to 30% of the population has vitamin A reserves that are so poor as to be considered “at risk.” For good skin, mucous membranes including sinuses and lungs, and eyesight, vitamin A is necessary.
