7. Honor Heritage Foods
Food is much more than just fuel for our bodies. What we eat binds us to our families, friends, and our own and other cultures.
Some food diets, like the traditional Mediterranean diet, receive a great deal of care, but they are not the only way to have a good meal.
If you examine more closely, your findings will show that traditional diets from all over the world share important, healthy characteristics, such as a focus on products and whole grains, meats being used for garnishing, or special occasions only.
Regardless of from which you come, our forefathers’ food is delicious, nutritious, and worth exploring.
